What is Scouting? Scouting provides the youth with weekly programs emphasizing values, citizenship, leadership and fun.  Scouting is a proven program designed to make a difference in the lives of tomorrow’s citizens and leaders.

How do I get involved?   Boys who have completed 5th grade or are 11 years old.  The goal of Boy Scouts is to teach the boys self-reliance through outdoor activities.  Boy Scouts meet weekly, Troop Meetings, and have at least one outdoor activity monthly.  Boy Scouts receive recognition for their accomplishments through the year. Adults train youth members to assume leadership positions, and boys are allowed to plan the program and carry it out
